Developed by Rivington Company and designed by architecture firm, DXA Studio, 21 Garden Street is a new 8-story rental residential building in Brooklyn’s Bushwick neighborhood. The project will feature 8 floors of studio, 1-bedroom, and 2-bedroom units and amenities, such as a gym, a movie/theater room, an outdoor roof deck with a biergarten and outdoor shower, and private parking in the building’s cellar.
Additional Information
Büro Ehring is providing full building enclosure consulting services, structural engineering design, and building envelope energy code consulting for the project. The façade design includes a GFRC rainscreen with a structural-insulated sheathing back-up system, a semi-custom aluminum window system with timber clad awning windows and fixed glass, and custom window planters at each bay with an integrated irrigation and drainage system within the façade.
