The Albright Knox Museum Extension project plans to expand and redevelop the Albright Knox Art Gallery with new gallery and office spaces, and a pedestrian bridge that connects the existing 1905 building to the newly designed north building. The reflective signature scenic bridge wraps around and visually engages the interior of the building with the surrounding Frederick Law Olmstead landscape.

Additional Information
Büro Ehring is providing full construction engineering design for the entire museum façade, including the signature bridge, for the project’s facade specialty contractor, Roschmann Group. The work includes full design assist and facade engineering design, shop drawings, 3D modeling, thermal analysis, and condensation risk analysis for the curved glass curtain wall of the winding bridge.
